We offer a unique and transformative experience for practitioners interested in the study and practice of learning, leadership, and change.
Our students focus on a system and innovation perspective to make real and lasting changes in our learning system.
Program Format
Our EdD program uses a hybrid online/face-to-face format. Students attend interactive, online evening courses two nights per week. The program also includes a one-weekend residency at the Sacramento campus each month.

Regina Lane, EdD Candidate, Cohort 3 "Originally when I was considering a doctoral program, I was looking to transform into a leader with a greater purpose. At Benerd, I found exceptional opportunities leading to new possibilities beyond my imagination. One of the most unique things that I experienced in the EdD Program was selecting the Social Entrepreneurship Path, which pushed me to my greatest potential landing me first place in the 3-Minute Thesis Competition, designing a Mental Health Mobile Application and accepting the invitation of a prized professor to participate in the recent 9th Social Business Day Conference in Bangkok, Thailand, while launching a startup business as a direct impact of my current research. |
