Organization Advisors
Each RSO must select an advisor from the University's full-time faculty or staff. Advisors help promote the continuity for RSOs through support and guidance of student officers. While the exact relationship between a RSO and the advisor will vary, the Student Activities Center asks all advisors to adhere to the following guiding principles:
Advisors: |
- Serve as a role model, mentor, and resource
- Demonstrate skills in ethics, communication, organizational development, and leadership
- Are available and approachable to the group's officers and members
